HARTFORD, Conn. — As former Connecticut funeral home director Philip Pietras faces charges in Coventry, East Windsor and Vernon, warrants show more evidence stacking up against him.
Pietras is accused of stealing prepaid funeral funds from up to 100 clients. Police departments in multiple northern Connecticut towns claim that there are dozens of victims in each of their communities.

Those warrants show more than $300,000 was deposited into Pietras' personal account and funeral bank account.
