HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Police say it was a domestic dispute that led to a shooting spree on Wednesday that spanned two cities and left four people dead.
Just after 12:30 pm. on Wednesday afternoon, police say Sherry Perrault crashed into the side of the road of Dairy Ashford in Sugar Land. They said the 47-year-old had been shot and died at the scene. Investigators believe William Lewis, a man she had dated on and off, was the suspect.
They believe that after Lewis shot Perreault, he drove to a car repair shop located at 13330 Fondren, in Southwest Houston. Family members of the man who owned this body mechanic shop told ABC13 Lewis occasionally came in for car work. Police say on Wednesday, he showed up, argued with the shop's owner, and then shot him.
