Makaela Caldwell Hodgins has become the latest female teacher in this country to use her position to take advantage of a minor, and now she will pay dearly for it.

The married high school teacher and cheer coach at an Alabama area high school has been accused of having sex with a male student.

According to court documents obtained by 1819news.com, the 32-year-old mother of two was ordered held on a bond of $30,000 following her arrest on Tuesday.

Her arrest came after a grand jury indicted the former Randolph County High School teacher and cheer coach for one charge of sexual intercourse with a student. The charging documents state that the male student was under the age of 19, but do not state the exact age.
