Suspicious, Blackford Drive:
After receiving a suspicious letter from a man in Canada, a resident recognized it was a scam and contacted police 10:40 a.m. Sept. 25. The letter purported to be regarding an unclaimed “permanent life insurance policy” from one of his late clients who had the same last name as the resident. Police advised the resident to not respond to the letter.
