At just 16-years-old, young Ahmad had already been injured in a bombing in his home city of Homs, Syria.

He had already fled as a refugee. He was dreaming of becoming a doctor, after experiencing first-hand the horrors of war, now desperate to help others.

Ahmad, who was learning English and had enrolled in college in Huddersfield, had moved to West Yorkshire to be near a relative.

Ahmad had only been living in Huddersfield for two weeks. Then he was murdered in the most horrific circumstances imaginable.
