KENNEWICK, Wash. – Students from Tri-Tech Skills Center recently participated in the school's fire and fuels camp, where they spent three days honing their skills for wildland firefighting.
The camp provided an opportunity for students and instructors to practice essential training techniques, facilitated through not only a learning experience but a collaborative effort as well.
The camp received support from the U.S. Forest Service, the Washington National Guard, U.S. Fish and Wildlife and the Department of Natural Resources.
