SPANAWAY, Wash. — Two people were found dead inside a Spanaway home on Thursday night, according to the Pierce County Sheriff's Office (PCSO).

Deputies responded to the home in the area of 8th Avenue East and Mountain Highway East, said Carly Cappetto, the public information officer for PCSO. Inside the home, deputies found a man and a woman with apparent gunshot wounds.

A 14-year-old was also inside the home at the time of the shooting. However, deputies could not confirm how or if the people are related, Cappetto said.

Deputies are investigating the incident as a homicide and authorities are not searching for any suspects at this time, Cappetto said.
