A violent arsonist, his 'impulsive' celebrity girlfriend, and his brother who served as his getaway driver, have been jailed following a shocking incident that left an innocent man with third-degree burns to his neck, back and face.

The horrifying event happened after Carl Wild, 34, hurled a makeshift petrol-bomb at an unsuspecting drinker outside a bar in Redcar, Yorkshire.

Teesside Crown Court heard how the 34-year-old crafted the explosive device after being denied entry into Peggy June's bar. After hurling the incendiary device at the victim, it "exploded, consuming [his] face, head and shoulders in flames".

He then sprayed bleach at the burning man before heading inside the venue on February 15 this year.
