Stewartry RFC were graced by three Scotland rugby players for what they hope will be an annual Women and Girls Day at Greenlaw. ‌

Teaming up with Tracy Martin from Quality Meat Scotland, Glasgow Warriors’ Alex Craig came along to the club to demonstrate a cooking lesson (partnered with Scotch Beef) for the U16 girls from both Biggar and Stewartry. ‌

Tracy and Alex – who is from Corsock – did a fantastic job of making it a fun day for all whilst educating the girls on nutrition for sport. There was also a rowing competition to see if anyone could beat Alex’s 100m row time – the lucky winner bagging themselves a pair of tickets to a Glasgow Warriors game. ‌
