New Delhi, Oct 10 (UNI) The Assam police’s SIT/CID team apprehended two long-serving Personal Security Officers (PSOs) of the late singer Zubeen Garg, identified as Nandeswar Bora and Paresh Baishya, today. They are sent to the Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) court.

The two PSOs attached with legendary singer Zubeen Garg were on Tuesday placed under suspension after transactions of more than Rs 1 crore were detected in their bank accounts even as one of the Singapore-based NRI wanted in connection with music icon’s death, appeared before the investigators.

The two Personal Security Officers (PSOs) recently arrested in connection with financial irregularities had been assigned to Assamese singer Zubeen Garg nearly a decade ago, following a death threat from the banned militant group ULFA
