MARION COUNTY, Fla. — Ronald Exantus, the man convicted in the stabbing death of a 6-year-old boy in 2015, is back in prison after he was released earlier this month.
The Marion County Sheriff's Office in Florida said it received information that Exantus, 42, had recently relocated to the state from Kentucky. Members of its intel unit began an investigation and confirmed he was residing in Marion County, located in the central part of the state, where he was arrested.
The office said Exantus failed to register as a felon within 48 hours as required by law. He was placed into the Marion County Jail and is being held with no bond.
“I am proud of the quick response by my deputies and the inter-agency teamwork that helped locate and arrest this disgusting individual," said Marion Count
