HOUSTON (CW39) — The risk for wildfires is expected to climb across Southeast Texas this Friday through the weekend as dry, windy conditions continue.

According to the Texas A&M Forest Service (TAMFS), a lack of recent rainfall has left much of the region with dry to critically dry wildfire fuels.
