PEORIA ( 25News Now ) - Two men, one of whom was previously charged in connection with the death of a 15-year-old from Peoria, now face more serious charges in the case.
According to the Peoria County State’s Attorney’s office, both 18-year-old Cortez D. Smith, and 27-year-old Jafari Robinson were charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of Keyaun Hardimon. Robinson was previously only charged with concealment.
On the morning of Oct. 1, Peoria Police said they were called about 7:45 a.m. to a report of shots fired in a home in the 2400 block of North Sheridan Road in the West Bluff.
