FRASER TWP, MI — A Bay County man has been hospitalized after crashing into a Bobcat tractor and being ejected from his car.

Just before 7 a.m. on Oct. 6, sheriff’s deputies responded for a two-vehicle crash on North Huron Road/M-13 near East Almeda Beach Road in Fraser Township.

They arrived to find the eastbound 2020 Bobcat T66 had been attempting to cross Huron Road from the west when a northbound 2005 Saturn Ion struck it.

The Ion’s 27-year-old driver was not wearing his seatbelt and was ejected, suffering numerous severe injuries. Paramedics took him to a Saginaw hospital for treatment.

The Bobcat’s driver was uninjured.

Deputies believe speed was a factor in the collision.
