A new Leger poll finds that while half of Canadians endorse Prime Minister Mark Carney’s unilateral recognition of Palestinian statehood, almost as many claim it won’t accomplish anything.
Of respondents, 50 per cent said they supported Canada recognizing “the right of the Palestinian people to their own state,” against 23 per cent who opposed it and 27 per cent who said they didn’t know. But a larger share of respondents said the move would either make t
