BEAUFORT COUNTY, S.C. (WTOC) - The Beaufort County Sheriff’s office is investigating after a man was shot and hospitalized Thursday night.

Deputies received a call about a gunshot victim at a home on Big Estate Road Thursday night around 10:20 p.m. When they arrived, deputies found one adult man with a gunshot wound.

The victim was taken to a local hospital, his condition has not been released.

The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office said circumstances of the shooting are still under investigation.
