BEAUFORT COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) - The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that sent a man to the hospital late Thursday night.

Deputies responded to a home on Big Estate Road at about 10:20 p.m., where a shooting had been reported.

Beaufort County EMS took the shooting victim to an area hospital.

Deputies are still working to determine what led to the incident and who is responsible.
