Legendary KISS rocker Gene Simmons was hospitalized in Malibu on Tuesday after he reportedly passed out behind the wheel of his car and crashed along the Pacific Coast Highway.
The good news is that the 76-year-old is “recovering at home,” according to People Magazine.
NBC4 Los Angeles reported that Simmons told deputies that he either passed out or fainted before he hit a parked car.
“Gene is fine and back to work already,” a rep for the singer told People.
The outlet reported that the incident occurred in the 2500 block of Pacific Coast Highway just before 1 p.m. Simmons was reportedly taken to the hospital by LA County Fire.
NBC4 reported that Simmons’ SUV “careened across several lanes of traffic” before hitting the parked car.
