ENFIELD, CT. (WWLP) - Five people were arrested in a retail theft operation in Enfield's shopping district.
The Enfield Police Department states that on Thursday, officers, along with the Detective Bureau, Connecticut State Troopers, and K-9 units, planned an operation to address retail thefts in Enfield's shopping district. They collaborated with loss prevention personnel from several stores to help identify and apprehend shoplifters as they committed larcenies.
Three people were arrested for shoplifting, and two for motor vehicle and/or drug-related charges during the operation.
24-year-old Farrah Decker from Enfield was arrested and charged with: • Operating a MV under suspension • Improper marker plate • Operating an unregistered MV • Operating MV without minimum insurance
