It's that time of year again when the days are getting shorter and the warm summer temperatures have officially gone. With the just around the corner, this will be the last chance for many to get away this year and catch some winter sun.

This is something East Midlands Airport expects around 180,000 to do, and so it is sharing some of the destinations perfect for a break. The half term period is stretching from October 20 to October 31, and during that time an estimated 183,216 people will be travelling through the airport to make the most of popular spots abroad.
