WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) -- It's an annual event that has become one of Wichita's institutions.

This weekend marks the 90th annual Lebanese Dinner. For nearly a century, the congregation of St. George Orthodox Christian Cathedral has gathered to cook and bake traditional Lebanese Middle Eastern dishes. Alexis Phillips, co-chair of the annual dinner, stopped by KSN News at Noon to talk about this weekend's events.

The dinner takes place on Saturday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., for dine-in. Drive-thru will be available until 8 p.m. and on Sunday, with dinner available from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The dinner includes Lebanese cabbage rolls called Malfouf, meat and green beans over rice called Loubia bi lahme, a Lebanese salad, pita bread, and balua, also known as baklava. Lebanese and Middle Eastern foods
