(KSNB) - Microsoft will stop providing security updates to Windows 10 on Oct. 14, 2025, marking the end of a decade-long support cycle for the operating system that launched in July 2015. This change will leave millions of computers vulnerable to security threats unless users take action to upgrade or protect their systems.
The end of security updates poses significant risks for Windows 10 users who remain connected to the internet. Without Microsoft’s ongoing patches and security fixes, computers will become increasingly susceptible to viruses, malware and cyberattacks.
“The security updates are not going to be working anymore. Patches are not going to be working anymore. So, you’re risking a lot of things by continuing using Windows 10,” said Shayne Raitt, general manage
