HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Troopers with the Nebraska State Patrol have arrested a man wanted out of Pennsylvania after a pursuit in central Nebraska.

At 9:30 p.m. Thursday, NSP received information that a man being sought by Pennsylvania law enforcement was believed to be traveling through Nebraska. He was believed to be traveling in a Mercedes SUV.

About 10 minutes later, a trooper located the vehicle and the suspect at a gas station at the Alda interchange on Interstate 80, at mile marker 305. As the trooper attempted to make contact, the suspect drove away, ripping the fuel hose away from the vehicle. The trooper initiated a pursuit.

The driver fled southbound on Alda Road, with speeds above 120 miles per hour, NSP said. After several miles, the driver drove into a corn field, stopped,
