SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) -- Burbank's only bar and restaurant will be closing until further notice.

Whimp's Place announced the closure on Facebook Thursday night.

"We will be taking a rest and the doors will be closed until such time we are ready to re-open," they wrote.

Whimp's Place will still hold private parties and catering. According to their Facebook, they opened in 1967.

Burbank is 6.5 miles away east from Vermillion.
