TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - The North Florida Fair is gearing up for fair season, as it hosts its Pre-Fair Food Drive Friday afternoon.

From 2 to 6 p.m., residents are encouraged to bring two non-perishable, non-expired food items to the fairgrounds, according to the North Florida Fair.

The drive will support Second Harvest of the Big Bend, helping provide meals to Tallahassee families in need.

For every two food items donated, residents can expect to receive one free admission ticket to the fair, which takes place from November 6 to November 16, according to the fairgrounds. There’s a maximum of five tickets per vehicle.
