YOUNGSTOWN A building in Youngstown was heavily damaged after a car crashed into it in Youngstown Friday morning.

The crash happened at a business at the intersection of Mahoning Avenue and Hazelwood Avenue near Westside Bowl just before 10 a.m. Friday.

Part of the building's facade came off following the crash, which appears to have caused damage to the bricks underneath it.

The car itself appears to have sustained heavy damage to the front bumper and driver's side doors. Airbags were deployed.

At this time, it is unclear what caused the crash or if anyone was injured in it.
