BUCKSNORT, Tenn. (WSMV) - An explosion was reported at a Tennessee explosives manufacturer in Hickman County on Friday morning.

A source confirmed to WSMV4 that multiple people are missing and that one is possibly dead. An official with Humphrey County Emergency Management said at least 19 are missing and multiple others have been hospitalized.

The Hickman County Sheriff’s Office confirmed an explosion at Accurate Energetic Systems near Bucksnort.

HCSO said emergency crews are on scene to address the situation and asked people to avoid the area to allow first responders to work efficiently.
