FORT CAMPBELL, Ky. (WBKO) - Fort Campbell responded to a possible security threat today.

Early this morning, Fort Campbell Emergency Services responded to an alleged bomb threat in a vehicle at Gate 10.

Fort Campbell Emergency Services responded promptly and assisted in evacuating fellow soldiers and their family members. After cordoning the area, the vehicle was cleared, and no explosives were found.

Gate 10 has reopened, and Mabry Gate has closed; residents in the Woodlands are now able to return to their homes.

The driver of the vehicle was detained and transported for evaluation to Blanchfield Army Community Hospital.
