CLEVELAND, Ohio — Fans heading out to high school football games across Northeast Ohio on Friday night will enjoy a cool but pleasant evening, with dry skies and light winds setting the stage for Week 8 matchups.
Only a hoodie or light jacket will be needed with high pressure building east of the Great Lakes and keeping conditions quiet and comfortable through Friday night.
Temperatures at kickoff will hover in the low to mid 60s across most of the region, dipping into the mid 50s by the second half under mostly clear skies. Winds will remain light, shifting out of the south through the evening.
Humidity will be low, and there’s no threat of rain — a welcome change before potentially wetter weather arrives over the weekend.
