An Edinburgh mum has launched a crusade to help the homeless and has spent hundreds of pounds of her own money after an attack on a vulnerable man left her heartbroken.
Chelsea Cameron was walking home on Princes Street on September 10 when she saw an older man sobbing because he had allegedly been targeted by teens who had hit him and urinated on his sleeping bag.
The 34-year-old bought him a coffee and spent an hour chatting to him before replacing his sleeping bag from a nearby shop, reports The Daily Record.
Chelsea was so disgusted by the incident she went back out the next night to find him and was astounded by the number of people who were sleeping rough in the capital
