Two Midlothian men have been arrested and charged following two police raids in the area.
Acting under a warrant, officers entered a property in the Newbattle area on Friday, October 10, where they discovered a significant quantity of drugs and stolen vehicles.
Officers recovered 11 vehicles including motorbikes, quad bikes and electric bikes, as well as cocaine and cannabis, with a potential street value of £97,000.
Two men, aged 28 and 23, are now due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Monday, October 13.
It follows a raid in Sherwood Industrial Estate in Bonnyrigg, which took place on Thursday, October 9. Both operations involved officers from Midlothian, Edinburgh and Forth Valley as officers work together to combat drugs, vehicle theft and serious and organised crime.
