JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ala. ( WBRC ) - One person died Oct. 10 in a crash involving a vehicle and a dump truck.

The dump truck and a vehicle collided around 6:30 a.m. on Pinson Valley Parkway, according to the Center Point Fire Department.

An adult in the vehicle was killed and a child in the vehicle was taken to Children’s of Alabama.

The dump truck driver did not have any injuries.
