EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — A driver was arrested in Evansville after police say they spotted him going 95 miles per hour on the Lloyd Expressway.

An officer was conducting speed enforcement on the Lloyd around 7:30 p.m. Thursday when they say they saw 20-year-old Noah Parish going 94 MPH in a pickup truck.

When the officer pulled out to follow the truck, they say Parish took off and started weaving in and out of all three lanes in an attempt to get away.

EPD says the westbound lanes were very congested due to the Fall Festival taking place on West Franklin Street and that the truck made several unsafe lane movements to squeeze in between cars - even driving onto the shoulder to get around vehicles when the three lanes were blocked.
