Waterloo Regional Police continue to appeal to the public for witnesses and dashcam footage in what is now being investigated as a fatal crash in Wellesley.

On Oct. 3, at approximately 3:50 p.m., a van and car collided on Ament Line, near Lavery Road, sending five people to hospital.

The driver of the van, a 62-year-old Woolwich man, suffered serious injuries, as did the driver of the car, a 79-year-old Perth County woman.

The child passengers in the car, ages 10, 12 and 14 suffered serious injuries, before the 10-year-old boy died of his injuries on Sunday.
