PICAYUNE, Miss. (WLOX) - Five people are facing drug charges following a multi-week investigation in Picayune, according to the Pearl River County Sheriff’s Department.
The investigation led to a narcotics search warrant being served on Ausburn Road on Thursday, October 9.
Investigators said they found 11 pounds of marijuana packaged for resale, four semi-automatic pistols, and one semi-automatic rifle. Officials also said they found over $3,000 believed to be proceeds from illegal narcotics sales.
The five people arrested were Lillie Terrell McDonald, 48, Joe Gaston, 28, Tabari Terrell, 25, Tyler Terrell, 27, and Tayon Terrell, 21. All are charged with trafficking a controlled dangerous substance.
