The Bridge of Lions in St. Augustine was closed Friday due to tidal flooding.

St. Johns County Emergency management made the announcement around 11:25 a.m.

It said the tide station at St Augustine Municipal Marina is in moderate flood stage (reading 2.39′). Major flooding occurs at 2.9′.

High tide was around noon, so levels will begin to slowly decrease over the next few hours, according to St. Johns County Emergency Management.
