PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WPRI) — A man was taken to the hospital following a stabbing Thursday night in Pawtucket.

Officers were called to a home on Dewey Avenue around 10:15 p.m. for reports of a man who had been stabbed multiple times.

The incident stemmed from a fight between two friends who live in separate homes on the same street, according to police.

The victim remains in the hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said they identified a suspect, but have not been arrested yet.
