BUCKSNORT, Tenn. (WSMV) - Emergency responders are searching for survivors after a fatal explosion at a Tennessee explosives manufacturer in Hickman County on Friday morning.

Authorities confirmed that “multiple” are dead after a “massive” explosion at Accurate Energetic Systems near Bucksnort just before 8 a.m.

An official with Humphrey County Emergency Management said at least 19 are missing and multiple others have been hospitalized. Family members are asked by EMA officials to report to Gate 3.

HCSO said emergency crews are on scene to address the situation and asked people to avoid the area to allow first responders to work efficiently.
