CINCINNATI (WXIX) - A Cincinnati imam walks free after 73 days in ICE detention when Department of Homeland Security attorneys dropped terrorism charges against him. Now, he is ready to move forward from what he describes as a traumatic and dehumanizing experience.

Ayman Soliman says he was told by prosecutors that it was all a “misunderstanding — that it was someone else."

For several months, the Department of Homeland Security argued that Soliman, a Muslim man from Egypt, was involved in a terrorist group and even killed three people in Iraq .
