The Sun Valley Community School Cutthroats and Wood River Wolverines boys and girls soccer teams now know their opponents as the postseason district tournaments begins.

SVCS’ girls and boys soccer teams will host Idaho Class 4A High Desert Conference tournament games on Saturday, with the girls team earning the No. 2 seed in its respective bracket and the boys team earning the No. 2 seed in its respective bracket.

The Cutthroats’ girls team will host the No. 7 seed Declo Hornets at 11 a.m. at Browning Field in Sun Valley. The team earned a 2-0 road victory at the Filer Wildcats on Thursday to finish the regular season 12-4 (11-3 conference). Brynley Gage and Piper Schmitz scored for SVCS, while Rylee Miller and Carolyn Fleming recorded assists.
