Todd Leary was arrested Thursday morning in Carmel.

Leary was charged with 10 felony counts for fraud and theft.

Leary is a former Indiana basketball player from Bob Knight's 1992 Final Four team.

CARMEL — Former Indiana University basketball player Todd Leary was arrested Thursday morning by Carmel police and charged with 10 felony counts, including five Level 6 felony frauds and five Level 6 felony thefts.

All charges involve loss or theft of property between $750 and $50,000. IndyStar has requested the probable cause affidavit from the Hamilton County Prosecutor. An initial hearing is scheduled for Friday afternoon.

In Indiana, a Level 6 felony is the least severe of felony crimes and can include offenses such as theft, fraud, auto theft and some DUI crimes. Possible penalties
