CHICAGO (WLS) -- A woman forced a male home invasion suspect out of her home early Friday morning on Chicago's North Side, Chicago police said.

The 32-year-old woman told police the male suspect broke into her home through a basement window just before 2 a.m. in the 2000-block of West Lunt Avenue in Rogers Park.

She was able to force the suspect out of the home, police said.

He then fled the scene on foot.

The woman was not injured, and refused medical treatment, police said.

There is no one in custody, and Area Three detectives are investigating.

A woman was sexually assaulted in a Logan Square home invasion Wednesday night, police said.

That suspect remains at large.
