TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - Work is being done to revitalize a landmark in downtown Tucson.
What was once home to the infamous HiFi bar will now be transformed by owners who are staying close to home.
For Grant Krueger, the dusty floors are the canvas and the hammers are his paint brush.
He’s got big dreams for downtown that could only fit in the massive 9,000 square-foot space.
“There’s a hole downtown that’s missing a true, proper sports bar,” Krueger said. “When you’ve got a 40 seat bar, and you’ve already got big bathrooms, and you’ve already got a big kitchen, quite frankly, all you’ve got to do is clean it up!”
Krueger already owns three different restaurants in Tucson, but this one is going to focus on the U of A.
