Chief minister Bhupendra Patel on Friday said 1212 memorandums of understanding (MoUs) promising investment worth Rs 3.24 lakh crore, focusing on 21 sectors in north Gujarat, were signed during the two days of the first Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference (VGRC) in Mehsana. The CM was speaking at the valedictory function of VGRC.

Calling it a “successful beginning of a success story”, CM Patel said, “There was a clear message in the thoughts presented by industrialists, representatives from agriculture sector, young entrepreneurs and women entrepreneurs that north Gujarat is not just a geographical region, but energy point of future Gujarat. And we are calling it energy point because in two days, 1212 MoUs have been signed in 21 sectors and there are (promises of) investments of Rs 3.24 l
