FORT CAMPBELL, Ky. (WSMV) - One person has been detained after an unfounded security threat at Fort Campbell Friday morning.

A spokesperson for Fort Campbell said emergency services responded to reports of an alleged bomb threat in a vehicle at Gate 10.

Soldiers and their families were immediately evacuated as emergency services investigated.

“The vehicle was cleared, and no explosives were found,” the spokesperson said.

The driver of the vehicle was detained and taken to Branchfield Army Community Hospital for evaluation.
