ATLANTA — The city of Atlanta is gearing up for the largest free Pride festival in the country this weekend.

The 55th Pride Festival is expecting hundreds of thousands of people and several road closures around Midtown. The theme this year is "rooted in resistance," honoring decades of LGBTQ+ activism and advocacy.

“We’re thrilled to kick off our 2025 entertainment announcements with such a dynamic group of performers,” said Chris McCain, Executive Director of Atlanta Pride, in a release. “From chart-topping artists to boundary-breaking storytellers, these entertainers reflect tremendous talent, creativity, and perfectly capture this year’s Festival theme ‘Rooted in Resistance.’ This is just the beginning, and we can’t wait to share even more talent to be announced in the weeks ahead.”
