A lost chapter of Jack Kerouac’s On The Road has been discovered in the files of a murdered Mafia boss. The two-page 1957 manuscript, signed by the author, is believed to have been a chapter from his classic beat literature novel.
It was discovered last year during the disposal of items owned by mafia boss Paul Castellano and remains a mystery how it ended up there. Experts believe the “very significant” chapter could have been languishing in his estate for at least 40 years.
