TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WFLA) — The Florida State University football player, Ethan Pritchard, who was injured in a shooting, was released from the hospital on Thursday.

Pritchard, a freshman linebacker, was released from Tallahassee Memorial Hospital, where he has been since he was hurt in a shooting that took place on Aug. 31.

He is being moved to Brooks Rehabilitation in Jacksonville, where he will enter the next stage in his recovery process.

Regarding his son's journey, Ethan's father, Earl Pritchard, released the following statement:
