According to a news release, staff at the multi-level prison made the discovery between Sept. 29 and Oct. 3, with items seized including marijuana, tobacco, cellphones and cellphone accessories totaling approximately $147,400. Article content

According to the release, “the Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) uses a number of tools to prevent drugs from entering its institutions. These tools include ion scanners and detector dogs to search buildings, personal property, inmates and visitors.”
