A range of recently completed renovations and upgrades at a Riverside County park just west of Menifee will be celebrated next week in a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by officials and area residents.

The event at Kabian Park, just off of Goetz Road and Kabian Park Drive, is slated for 10 a.m. on Oct. 18, according to the county Regional Park & Open Space District.

The roughly 640-acre park, situated in an unincorporated area known as Quail Valley, has been shut down for months while work was underway on the grounds, and the ribbon-cutting will double as a “grand re-opening,” officials said.
